Emulating the aesthetic of the Defender, the LR001 merges simple lines with innate capability. Constructed to endure with a 40mm titanium casing and a top-of-the-line Sellita SW200-1b automatic movement, it is finished with a sophisticated ruthenium anthracite finish, embodying sustainability through durability.
Housed in a gray titanium case, the striking design showcases a toned gray cut-out dial that accentuates its technical accuracy. The cut-out dial also reveals hidden luminescence that emits a soft green light for low-light conditions. The dial also features subtle ‘LR001’ text in Bamford’s iconic aqua blue at the 6 o’clock position.
Four durable 18mm bio-based straps are available in black, navy, light tan, and dark tan, providing a sustainable alternative to traditional leather. The black, light tan and dark tan straps are made from corn-based sustainable PU leather, while the navy strap is made of Cordoba, a recycled woven nylon that is coated to be water-resistant and long-lasting.

I had low expectations about Sofia as a city, but after the walking tour I absolutely loved the place. This was an easy city to navigate, and it was a beautiful city – despite its ugly, staunch and stolid communist-built surrounds. Sofia has a very average facade as you enter the city, but once you lose yourself in the old town area, everything changes.
Clothes can transform your mood and confidence. Fashion moves so quickly that, unless you have a strong point of view, you can lose integrity. I like to be real. I don’t like things to be staged or fussy. I think I’d go mad if I didn’t have a place to escape to. You have to stay true to your heritage, that’s what your brand is about.
